A true champion of local independent radio, Carol Moore Cutting is the CEO, President, and owner of WEIB 106.3 Smooth FM, in Northampton.

She is the first African-American woman in Massachusetts to operate a radio station, which in turn, is the only locally owned commercial FM outlet in the Greater Springfield market, the only female-owned FM outlet in Massachusetts, and the only African-American-owned AM or FM radio station in New England. Many honors have come her way for community service and entrepreneurship.
