HOW ARE PEOPLE CHOSEN FOR INDUCTION?
We have an Induction Committee consisting of members of the Hall of Fame Board of Directors who are chosen annually and consist of people with radio and TV experience and strong knowledge of the history of Massachusetts broadcasting and familiarity with all of the media markets in the Commonwealth. Following the Open Nomination period the committee reviews all submissions, discusses the strengths of each, and votes. The committee then presents a proposed slate of nominees for approval by the entire Board of Directors. Any nominee who is not selected for induction will be reconsidered the following year. A nominee who receives no votes for three consecutive years will be dropped from the list, but can be re-nominated at a later date.
