Archive Survey

You may be surprised to learn that there is no archive of material on the history of radio and television broadcasting in Massachusetts. There are a few proprietary collections, but these are not readily available to students, teachers, historians, communications writers and other interested individuals. The Mass. Broadcasters Hall of Fame is developing a plan to gather relevant records, tapes and documents to preserve them for future generations and is eager to survey present and former broadcasters, their fans and families, to identify what material is available and explore the best way to collect and curate it. Please complete the form below to tell us what materials you have, and whether you would be willing to share them with current students and future generations.

Please submit only the survey right now, not the suggested archival materials. We are in the early stages of ascertaining what exactly is available, what space would be needed, and where.
